DePauw is 1-4 on the season after a 30-7 loss at Sewanee on October 15, while Ohio Wesleyan is 1-5 on the season after losing at Carnegie Mellon on October 8 by a 41-10 score.
The teams are meeting for the 25th time, but first since 1991. The Battling Bishops lead the all-time series 17-6-1 and hold a 9-2-1 lead in games played at Ohio Wesleyan. DePauw’s last win in the series came in 1975 by a 32-14 score.
The game is also a matchup of two of the winningest programs in Division III history as DePauw ranks 17th with 541 wins and Ohio Wesleyan is 15th with 551 victories.
