Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw travels to Springfield, Ohio, tonight to face Wittenberg University for the seventh time in school history, but the first as North Coast Athletic Conference rivals. Kickoff from Edwards-Mauer Field is set for 7 p.m.
The Tigers are coming off a 31-10 home loss to St. Olaf in the season opener, while Wittenberg is 1-0 on the year after topping Capital on the road by a 44-17 score on September 1. Wittenberg is receiving votes in the D3football.com poll.
Wittenberg leads the all-time series, 4-2, after a 45-35 win on September 9, 1995, in the last meeting between the schools. The game is the first for the DePauw football team in NCAC play as the Tigers played an independent schedule last year after 13 seasons in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
