Hunt and Hepp Earn All-Region Honors

Greencastle, Ind. - Following an 8-2 campaign that included a season-ending win over Wabash for possession of the Monon Bell, a pair of Tigers earned All-North Region honors.

Senior quarterback Matt Hunt, the North Coast Athletic Conference's Mike Gregory Award winner as the league's top offensive player, was selected to the first team, while junior corner back Brooks Hepp earned second team honors.

Hunt threw for 2,580 yards as he completed 64.2 percent of his passes with 26 touchdowns and just eight interceptions for a 138.0 efficiency rating. Additionally, he rushed for 947 yards and 10 touchdowns and averaged 6.4 yards per carry. His 352.7 total yards per game rank eighth in Division III, while his 21.6 points responsible for/game are 12th in the nation.

Hepp, who ranked second on the team with 70 tackles, led the Tigers with six interceptions. He also leads Division III with 2.5 passes defended (interceptions + pass breakups) per game. 

The All-America team will be announced on Friday, December 16, prior during the 2016 Stagg Bowl pregame coverage.
