Gambier, Ohio - The DePauw Tigers men's lacrosse team fell to the Lords of Kenyon in a North Coast Athletic Conference match, 23-1, on Saturday, April 20, on the campus of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
With the setback, the Tigers fall to 0-12 on the season and 0-6 in NCAC play while the Lords move to one game above .500 (8-7) and 4-3 in the NCAC.
Michael Strader tallied the lone DePauw goal in the eighth minute of the final period for his fourth score of the season.
Twelve Lords scored in the match, led by Zach Arila's four goals.
DePauw goalie JR Strubbe stopped 15 Kenyon chances, taking the loss. Kenyon's Justin Sheehan stopped four DePauw shots in one half of play en route to picking up the victory. Additionally, Patrick Shevelson saw action in the net for the other 30 minutes of play, stopping another four chances.
DePauw returns to the field for a rescheduled match against Wittenberg on April 23 at 4 p.m. (ET) on Boswell Field in Greencastle, Ind.
