September 8, 2010, Franklin, Ind. — Ryan Keefe scored with 1:16 left in the first overtime and lifted 14th-ranked DePauw to a 1-0 win over Franklin. The Tigers improved to 4-0 with their fourth straight shutout, while the Grizzlies dropped to 2-1-1.
DePauw outshot Franklin 15-1 and held a 7-1 edge in corners. Nate Sprenkel totaled one save in goal for the Tigers and Matt Foreman had five for Franklin.
The 4-0 start is DePauw's best since 2003 and the start marks the first time since 1980 that a DePauw team has opened with four shutouts.
The Tigers host Wabash on Wednesday, September 15, at 7 p.m.
