Men's Soccer Takes 3-0 Win at Rose-Hulman

September 1, 2010, Terre Haute, Ind. —  DePauw opened the 2010 season on a winning note after a 3-0 win at Rose-Hulman in the season opener for both squads.

Sam Meyer put the Tigers on the board at 18:07 on Chris Taljan's assist. Gary Pett scored unassisted at 50:45 and Shelton Graves did the same at 86:19.

Nate Sprenkel totaled three saves in recording the shutout, while Andy Kruth had three stops for the Engineers.

DePauw held a 7-6 edge in shots and a 9-2 advantage in corners.

The Tigers take host Maryville (Tenn.) at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Robbie Dreher Memorial Wabash Classic.
