Four More All-Conference Performances Lead DePauw to Its Best Finish Ever at NCAC Championships

Crawfordsville, Ind. - Led by four individual all-conference performances today, DePauw totaled 93 points and posted its best finish ever at the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships after placing third. Ohio Wesleyan won with 140 and Wabash was second with 125.

Tyler Nemeth earned all-NCAC honors with a second-place showing in the pole vault (4.41 m/14-5.5) as did Jordan Booker in the 400 meters (50.64) and Polo Burguete in the 3,000 meters (8:44.43). Zach Batt was the other all-conference performer after placing third in the mile (4:19.31).

In all, the Tigers totaled 18 points in the 3,000 as Paul Christian was fourth (8:47.71), Cole Martin sixth (8:50.72) and Nick Meszaros seventh (8:51.38).

Cole Martin added a fourth-place in the mile (4:20.03), while Chase Wright was fifth in the 200 (23.10). Johnny Miller finished seventh in the 400 (51.96) and Booker was eighth in the 200 (23.24). Also scoring for the Tigers was Nate Baker with an eighth-place showing in the weight throw (14.65m/48-00.75).

DePauw's 4x400 relay of Luke Patty, Miller, Wright and Booker) was fourth (3:26.50 5), while the 4x200 of Booker, Patty, Satchel Oskins and Wright) was fifth (1:33.01).

The Tigers will open the outdoor season on Saturday, March 17, at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird.
