DePauw Splits Saturday Volleyball Matches

September 11, 2010, Terre Haute, Ind. —  DePauw is 5-4 on the season after splitting its two matches today at the Rose-Hulman Invitational.

DePauw lost to Rose-Hulman 3-1 (25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 25-16) before taking a 3-0 (25-12, 25-7, 25-8) victory over Eureka.

In the Rose-Hulman match, Annie Collier led the way with 19 kills, while Ali Smith totaled 41 assists. Kylee Lehrman finished with 26 digs and Paige Thompson had six blocks.

Thompson and Sajel Tremblay each totaled seven kills against Eureka, while Brianna Holder and Smith led with 13 assists apiece. Lehrman recorded nine service aces and Madison Hoenig paced the team with 10 digs.

Smith was one of six players named to the all-tournament team.

DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, September 14, when it hosts Mount St. Joseph at 7 p.m. in the annual attendance breaker match.
