DePauw Moves to 4-2 with Pair of Wins
Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw improved to 4-2 in the season following a pair of wins at the Rose-Hulman Invitational. The Tigers topped Rose-Hulman 3-1 (25-20, 25-20, 24-26, 25-16) and then defeated Defiance 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-15).
Against Rose-Hulman, Kelly Doyle led with 14 kills, while Mary Kate Etling totaled 12. Faith Rolwes paced the Tigers with 47 assists with Brekiesha Weszely finishing with three aces. Keely McGrath had a team-high 29 digs and Hannah Nelson recorded six blocks.
Doyle had a team-high 13 kills in the Defiance match with Rolwes totaling 38 assists. McGrath was the team leader with three aces and 23 digs, while Etling totaled six blocks.
The Tigers wrap up play in the Invitational on Sunday when they face Centre and Webster.
