Sept. 14, 2019 (Manchester, Ind.)- The DePauw University men's soccer team extended its win streak to four with a dominating 5-1 victory over Manchester University.
Similar to its last two games the Tigers attempted three times as many shots as the Spartans. Showing DePauw's ability to get the ball across the pitch and into its opponents' defensive end.
Five different Tigers scored the in the matchup against the Spartans. Jack Schrepferman and Jake Limauro would score just 20 minutes apart from each other in the first half giving DePauw a commanding lead.
Though Manchester did manage to tie the game after DePauw's first goal, the Spartans were no match for the Tiger's tenacious attacking.
The DePauw scoring chances, however, wouldn't have been possible without the foot of Jake Brady. Brady managed to record four assists in the game, showcasing not only the unselfish play of the Tigers' but also its ability to score from all over the field.
The Tigers are back at Reavis Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 18th to face Rose-Hulman at 7 p.m.
