Greencastle, Ind. - Coming off Tuesday's 75-38 quarterfinal win over Hiram, top-seeded DePauw hosts fifth-seed Ohio Wesleyan in tomorrow night's second semifinal contest of the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament.
Tipoff from Neal Fieldhouse is scheduled for 8 p.m. or approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first semifinal game (whichever is later) between second-seeded Wittenberg (21-6) and third-seeded Denison (15-11). DePauw, ranked seventh in the coaches' poll and eighth by D3hoops.com, finished NCAC play at 16-0 with its fourth NCAC title in as many years and enters the game with a 24-1 record. Ohio Wesleyan completed the NCAC circuit with a 9-7 conference record and comes into the game with a 14-12 record.
The Tigers lead the all-time series, 8-3, after winning both meetings during the season. DePauw took a 68-53 victory in Delaware on January 17. Savannah Trees led DePauw with 24 points, while Taylor Dickson paced the Bishops with 12.
DePauw defeated Ohio Wesleyan, 74-69, last Saturday in Greencastle as Lauren Abendroth led DePauw with 13 points and Kristin Henning paced Ohio Wesleyan with 14 points.
The winner takes on the Wittenberg-Denison victor in Saturday's 4 p.m. championship game in Neal Fieldhouse.
